Simple Thoughts

ਕੁਦਰਤ ਦੇ ਸੱਤ ਰੰਗਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋ

 ਕੁਦਰਤ  ਦੇ  ਸੱਤ ਰੰਗਾਂ  ਵਿੱਚੋ 
Out of seven colors of nature
 ਤਿੰਨ  ਰੰਗ  ਹੋ  ਗਏ  ਚੋਰੀ
three got stolen 
 ਰੱਖ  ਲੈ  ਮੇਰੇ  ਸਾਈਆਂ
 Please God protect me 
 ਮੇਰੀ  ਤੇਰੇ ਹੱਥ  ਹੁਣ  ਡੋਰੀ 
 You are the only support
                ਚਾਰ   ਬਚੇ  ਜੋ  ਮੇਰੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿੱਚ
                The remaining four colors  in my hand
                ਵਰਤਣ  ਦਾ  ਚੱਜ  ਦੇ  ਦੇ  
                Please give me insight to utilize them
                ਦੁੱਖ  ਸੁੱਖ  ਕਿਵੇਂ  ਬਿਆਨ ਕਰਾਂ 
                 How should I express pleasure and sorrows
                 ਤੇ  ਕਰਾਂ  ਮੈਂ  ਕੀਹਦੇ ਕੀਹਦੇ 
                  and whose pleasure and sorrows I can write    
 ਕੰਮ  ਕਾਰ  ਛੱਡ  ਕੇ ,ਪੈੱਨ  ਘਸਾ  ਕੇ 
 writing after leaving career job
 ਕਾਗਜ਼  ਕਰਦਾ  ਕਾਲੇ 
 wasting papers by writing
 ਪੈਸੇ ਕਿਉਂ  ਨਹੀਂ  ਕਰਦਾ  ਇੱਕਠੇ 
 why do you not write for money
 ਹੈਰਾਨ  ਨੇ  ਲੋਕੀਂ   ਵਾਹਲੇ
 people are surprised to know 
                   ਰੁੱਖਾਂ  ਦੇ ਨਾਲ਼  ਗੱਲਾਂ  ਕਰਦਾ 
                   I talk to the trees
                   ਤੂੰ  ਵੀ  ਮੇਰੇ  ਵਰਗਾ   
                   You are just like me
                   ਕੰਮ  ਤੇ ਕਿਉਂ  ਨਹੀਂ  ਜਾਂਦਾ  ਤੂੰ  ਵੀ 
                   Why don't you go to work
                    ਤੇਰਾ  ਕਿੱਦਾਂ  ਸਰਦਾ
