Honestly, I have observed very closely how this material world operates. Let us reflect on the divisions of society.
1. Religion – Originally came into existence to unite people but it divides now 2. Cast – Originally defined the profession now used to show status 3. Colour – Colour which humans do not even choose 4. Gender – Gender is a uniqueness, not a deviation.
We often claim we have very advanced technology. We have so many resources. Why can not we get help from those resources? For example, we have so many online resources but we can not find a job on a Jobsite designed for searching for jobs. We can not make a transaction on CRA website and drive to a bank to pay eleven dollars. Spend thirty dollars time and gas to pay eleven dollars.
Please check the Government site and their subcontractors site to apply for India Visa You will need to compile all information on your notebook from 20 different sub-links. One sub link asking for half of the documents to be attached and other links telling the rest of documents you need to accompany the application. A different link for Photograph specifications. And a big sum of application fee on the one link and other link for how to post your application with their favorite parcel service for a double triple fee. Can not things be simple. Learn the web design from Mark Zuckerberg even uneducated people can navigate through his simple website. Why you claim you can pay online on our website if a transaction is not done after trying four days in a row??

The power or right to act, speak, or think as one wants without hindrance or restraint.
Absence of subjection to foreign domination or despotic government
The state of not being imprisoned or enslaved.
“Free thought, expression and action without fear or favour is freedom. … “Freedom to me means the ability to run my life by my terms, be able to express myself the way I think is appropriate, and see that my children too have the ability to do the above without any fears.”
Freedom, generally, is having the ability to act or change without constraint. Something is “free” if it can change easily and is not constrained in its present state. … A person has the freedom to do things that will not, in theory or in practice, be prevented by other forces.
Liberty is linked to human subjectivity; freedom is not. The Declaration of Independence, for example, describes men as having liberty and the nation as being free. Free will—the quality of being free from the control of fate or necessity—may first have been attributed to human will, but Newtonian physics attributes freedom—degrees of freedom, free bodies—to objects.
Freedom differs from liberty as control differs from discipline. Liberty, like discipline, is linked to institutions and political parties, whether liberal or libertarian; freedom is not. Although freedom can work for or against institutions, it is not bound to them—it travels through unofficial networks. To have liberty is to be liberated from something; to be free is to be self-determining, autonomous. Freedom can or cannot exist within a state of liberty: one can be liberated yet unfree, or free yet enslaved (Orlando Patterson has argued in Freedom: Freedom in the Making of Western Culture that freedom arose from the yearnings of slaves).
Freedom of Assembly: sometimes used interchangeably with the freedom of association, is the individual right to come together and collectively express, promote, pursue and defend common interests. The right to freedom of association is recognized as a human right, a political freedom and a civil liberty. This freedom can be limited by laws that protect public safety.
Freedom of the Press: prohibits the government from interfering with the printing and distribution of information or opinions. It can be limited by libel and copyright laws, and it doesn’t include the act of news gathering.
Freedom of expression includes freedom of speech, of the press, of association, of assembly and petition. This freedom doesn’t extend to expression that defames, causes panic, creates fighting words, incites people to crime, creates sedition, or is obscene.
Freedom of speech is the right of people to express their opinions publicly without governmental interference. The right doesn’t extend to hate speech, advertising, child pornography, and a few other instances.
Freedom of religion is the freedom of an individual or community, in public or private, to manifest religion or belief in teaching, practice, worship, and observance. This right extends to any religious belief, but not in the practice of all religious activities (for example, ones that involve breaking other laws).
“Free thought, expression and action without fear or favour is freedom. Our great nation, with its cultural, philosophical and democratic heritage, enables us to do just this. To the women, I urge: let us empower ourselves with education and economic independence towards a holistic life in the realisation of our dreams.”
“To me, freedom is synonymous with opportunity. The opportunity to say what’s on our mind, to make mistakes, to dream, the opportunity to translate our dreams to reality. Freedom isn’t something we wait for somebody to give us; we earn it and then defend it passionately.”

How much freedom do we have to direct our lives? Our understanding of freedom can give us insight into what motivates us so we can direct and move our lives toward what we desire. There are three types of freedom. The first kind of freedom is “freedom from,” a freedom from the constraints of society. Second, is “freedom to,” a freedom to do what we want to do. Thirdly, there is “freedom to be,” a freedom, not just to do what we want, but a freedom to be who we were meant to be.
Jean-Jacques Rousseau, the eighteenth century French philosopher, observed that “Man is born free, and everywhere he is in chains.” These chains are oppressive societal rules that restrict what we can physically do. But they are also mental chains, chains that restrict what we believe we can do. These are the chains of social conditioning, the values society projects onto us. We feel we have no power to move ourselves in the direction we want to go in our lives. Rather, we feel we’re moved by society, moved by whatever society deems valuable.
We may want to climb, but if society tells us “it’s crazy and dangerous,” we don’t. We’re moved away from climbing by reacting to a conditioned societal value. If we remain unconscious we’ll only gain freedom if society removes the rules, or if someone removes our social conditioning. That never happens. The removal comes from an internal shift within us. We achieve “freedom from” when we wake up and realize we are more valuable than society’s values or our conditioning.
The second freedom, “freedom to,” emerges after we’ve achieved “freedom from” society’s values and begin creating our own. If we value climbing, then we go climbing regardless of society’s crazy and dangerous labels. We’re moved, not by society, but by our values. This is a big step forward, but it tends to manifest itself through our ego. We are moved toward what we experience as easy, comfortable and pleasurable, and moved away from what we experience as hard, stressful and painful. In other words, we’re motivated toward pleasure and away from pain. This manifests itself unconsciously as striving for end results, which are realized after the stressful climbing experience.
The third freedom, “freedom to be,” emerges when we develop more consciousness. We need to move beyond an egoistic approach to life, and how we’re motivated. We need to be the mover of our own life, moved by the universe. Being moved by the universe is surrendering to our own unique purpose for being here. If we can tap into that, then we live an authentic life, moved by a force greater than ourselves.
A big part of accomplishing this level of freedom has to do with accepting and allowing. We accept our current state and allow whatever is happening, whether pain or pleasure, stress or comfort, hard or easy. Accepting and allowing don’t focus on end results; rather they are processes. Therefore, a shift to this third freedom requires a shift from end results to processes.
Krishnamurti, the philosopher from India, once expressed his ultimate insight as: I don’t mind what happens. If a pleasurable, comfortable, easy experience comes into our lives, we accept and allow it. If a painful, stressful, hard experience comes into our lives, we accept and allow it. There is no resistance to what is. Resistance distracts our attention from the situation, with an emphasis of seeking comfort. This process of accepting and allowing provides many situations for developing awareness and self knowledge. We relax into the stress so we can be attentive and learn from it. We begin to find the truth of our being, who we are, and our purpose. This truth can then set us free.
“Freedom to be” is a freedom where the chains of society are cast off, the veil of the ego is removed, and our authentic being can reveal itself. Once we reach this kind of freedom, our motivation becomes truly intrinsic. Energy can then flow unimpeded from the universe, through us and into our experience. Intrinsic motivation is powerful because it engages us in pleasure and pain equally. We do stressful climbing because there’s no where else we’d rather be. If we love climbing, then we know that to live the life we want, to have the freedom to be who we authentically are, we must climb. Reaching this level of freedom is no small feat, especially living in a society with plenty of rules and conditioned values. When we reach this level of freedom we live in society, but we’re not moved unconsciously by it. We’re part of the world, but not of it.
“Freedom is the freedom to say that two plus two make four. If that is granted, all else follows.”
― George Orwell, 1984
We read about freedom, dream about freedom, celebrate the idea of freedom, advocate and hope for freedom, but what do we mean by “freedom”?
“Freedom” means many things to many people. Freedom can mean having the opportunity to vote for particular ideas or for people who best represent our views. Freedom can refer to the concept of freedom of speech: the ability to freely voice personal opinions or perspectives. Others may understand freedom in a financial context, where people seek to free themselves of financial debt, outstanding credit and burdensome loans.
But what does true freedom look like? Does it look like a voter’s ballot or someone walking out of prison? Is it seen in being able to buy anything a person wants or in owing anything to anyone?
Freedom is defined by Merriam Webster as the quality or state of being free, such as:
the absence of necessity, coercion, or constraint in choice or action.
liberation from slavery or from the power of another.
boldness of conception or execution.
a political right.
Freedom is more complicated than being able to do whatever we want. Taken too far, that approach would lead to dangerous anarchy—every person for themselves! Certainly freedom can mean the right to do, think, believe, speak, worship, gather, or act as one pleases, but only until your choices start to infringe on another person’s freedoms.
Consider each of our freedoms as fitting into one of two categories: “freedoms of” and “freedoms from.” This point was made by President Franklin Delano Roosevelt in his State of the Union Address delivered on January 6, 1941:
“We look forward to a world founded upon four essential human freedoms.
The first is freedom of speech and expression — everywhere in the world.
The second is freedom of every person to worship God in his own way — everywhere in the world.
The third is freedom from want — which, translated into world terms, means economic understandings which will secure to every nation a healthy peacetime life for its inhabitants—everywhere in the world.
The fourth is freedom from fear — which, translated into world terms, means a world-wide reduction of armaments to such a point and in such a thorough fashion that no nation will be in a position to commit an act of physical aggression against any neighbor—anywhere in the world.
That is no vision of a distant millennium. It is a definite basis for a kind of world attainable in our own time and generation.”
President Franklin Delano Roosevelt Delivers the State of the Union in 1941
In the same speech, Roosevelt said:
“There is nothing mysterious about the foundations of a healthy and strong democracy. The basic things expected by our people of their political and economic systems are simple. They are:
Equality of opportunity for youth and for others.
Jobs for those who can work.
Security for those who need it.
The ending of special privilege for the few.
The preservation of civil liberties for all.
The enjoyment of the fruits of scientific progress in a wider and constantly rising standard of living.
These are the simple, basic things that must never be lost sight of in the turmoil and unbelievable complexity of our modern world. The strength of our economic and political systems is dependent upon the degree to which they fulfill these expectations.”
In other words, if the nation loses its liberties, freedoms and opportunities, the nation shall be no more.
Securing “freedom from fear” and “freedom from want” almost always includes collective, organized action. That kind of activity is often carried out most effectively and efficiently (although, admittedly, not perfectly) by a governing body of some sort. If we want to live in a society where freedoms are protected and where the opportunity to exercise freedom is assured, we have to rely on some form of governance.
Section Objective: Students will define what “freedom” means to them and express an appreciation for and understanding of some of the freedoms and rights allotted to United States citizens.
What does “freedom” mean to you?
What freedoms are most important to you? If you had to choose a most important and least important freedom, what would they be and why?
Do you feel that certain freedoms you are supposed to enjoy are restricted in some way? How?
There are five virtues according to Guru Granth one should develop to experience God like qualities.
There are five Impurities or immortality
Generally we are being told do not do these five immoral things. In reality it focuses on these five instead of five virtues.
To work it properly it should be said like this focus on five virtues. The reason to say this is when we switch the light on we do not have to push the darkness outside. Light on and darkness gone that simple.
So let us focus on five virtues instead of worrying about impurities.
We all understand there is battle going on which source of energy is better to address global warming. I just want to share my opinion, you can comment if you think I am wrong. I have done little bit search and found that electrical power is still being produced from coal or gas. The best use of solar power will be transforming the power station to hybrid power station. The second source of fuel should always be considered as emergency back up. We must learn from recent power crisis in Texas US. It is very easy to program that we use Solar Power when available and switch to other sources when not available.
I am not convinced with idea of electric cars. If you have enough Lithium cobalt and Nickle then battery banks should be used to store power at electrical power stations not in cars. The very first question I often look for is what is maximum life span of a battery.
Five year to ten years at maximum at standard conditions. In reality the life of a battery is 300-500 charge recharge cycles not in years. The recent heat wave has raised other question can you expect the same kilometer range with AC on in summers and heat on in the winters as you claim?
The use of solar power makes more sense if used in production of electric power in power stations. Vehicle run better on gas because you can not even compare power of an electrical vehicle with internal combustion engine. Raw material of batteries exist in traces in core. The amount of energy used to extract them in pure form and pollution produced in the process may be way more than using gasoline in vehicles.
I have expressed my opinion. You may or may not agree, if so please comment on this post and increase my knowledge of the subject.
The very often used word “Love” is often misunderstood and misrepresented.
When I google for meaning I find as under :
A profoundly tender, passionate affection for another person. a feeling of warm personal attachment or deep affection, as for a parent, child, or friend.
An intense feeling of deep affection.
A great interest and pleasure in something.
A feeling of strong or constant affection for a person. : attraction that may or may not include sexual desire : the strong affection felt by people who have a romantic relationship. : a person you love in a romantic way.
Essentially, true love means that you have an unwavering, unbreakable and unparalleled fondness and devotion for your partner. It’s also defined by an emotional as well as physical connection with him or her that runs immeasurably deep, and life without your significant other would be practically unthinkable.
Love is a set of emotions and behaviors characterized by intimacy, passion, and commitment. It involves care, closeness, protectiveness, attraction, affection, and trust. Love can vary in intensity and can change over time.
True love includes respect, admiration, care, and never subjecting your partner to hurt, humiliation or any form of abuse. Many assume they are in love whereas it may just be an infatuation, a one-sided feeling, or just close friendship.
The four types of love
Storge – empathy bond.
Philia – friend bond.
Eros – romantic love.
Agape – unconditional “God” love.
True love doesn’t hurt, it heals. It brings happiness to your life. It empowers you to become the best version of yourself. A real love is supposed to feel euphoric and spontaneous.
To find real love, you must first emphasize your true self. If you want someone to love you through your moments of imperfection, you must first be willing to do that for someone else. … Get to know yourself, love yourself, and learn to act and speak authentically. Be your best self.
What love means to a man?
So when a man is open, giving and affectionate with a woman on an ongoing basis, it is often his way of expressing love. For him, love means meeting her needs and having his needs met as well.
It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice in wrongdoing, but rejoices in the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends”
When we strongly connect with our soul and its guiding force, the power of love balances our emotions and helps us keep our perspective. Love allows us to let someone go because they would be happier elsewhere even if they cheated and lied. Unconditional love is the foundation for forgiveness.
I may not be always true. Personally I believe if there is true love then there are no conditions. We often have heard if you love me you will not talk to this person or that person. That is not love it is you trying to control the other person. Love is only good when it is unconditional. There are so many songs which mention Love is surrender. Love is unbreakable. If it breaks why call it love? When you love someone you feel no difference between you and that person at all. That person is your mirror image and you talk to that person even if he/she is not with you physically.
The demand and requirement of the current time is that instead of telling us who did the worst please tell us what good things you did in your term. What you are doing currently to address the problems of the citizens. You can also tell us what is your plan if you win and comes into power. Again no fake promises please tell us clear plan what you actually intend to do. Please tell us in pre election talks that you provided electricity at low cost, or car fuel at low cost, or gas at low cost, or you created employment for citizens, or you gave us better value for our work or produce, decreased any school fees or you reduced crime. Please tell us at least those things which can assure us that members elected by citizens are doing something meaningful
Please let us know how we can pay phone bills, electricity bills, gas bills, internet bills, car insurance, car fuel and other installments? Is it possible to pay 50,000 per month while earning 1000 per month? You consider yourself great economist, do you know the tasks which should have done twenty years ago you have not even considered yet? Do you think we are just born to pay your bills or we have our life too. You want us in your factories all day long, first you rob us while paying our salaries. Then when we come out we are your costumers and we go to buy something you rob us again. I clearly understand without robbing citizens you can not have your jet planes but should be there limit to which extent they should be robbed?
Life is a precious gift and politics is a business. It is true politics affect our daily lives, but making your whole life a politics is not appropriate thing to do. When I was kid the people in villages used to discuss life and its struggle or problems related to village. Politics was never a topic in your daily life. Only a few months before provincial or federal election there was small discussions but not blame games. Now we feel everyday is a political day because every third person we talk to comes back to political discussion. It seems like we have no other topics related to our life. We need to through out the politics out of our family and relations.
The second request is to political parties. We elect our representative to speak for our rights. You get intoxicated after winning an election and back up your faction’s motive. You forget about the citizens who elect you and just keep backing up statements and decisions of your boss. You rarely consider the concerns of common citizens. Please correct your course.
I have been observing for the last ten to fifteen years is that some newspaper headlines show the death of a person in family violence. Why would we call it family violence despite knowing the whole truth? While the system design is that the new immigrant to become a permanent resident in foreign countries must break other happy families with the help of criminals. There is no other legitimate way governments have left. Twenty years ago, the simplest way to apply for a skilled worker class was on Canada’s immigration website. Check your points. Fill out the online application. There was no need for a middleman. Now there is an advanced website built after such progress. Try it out and if you find a simple and straightforward answer to a question, tell me if I lied. I consider myself an advanced user of the internet but I often experience that government websites are garbage. You have no direct access. I have not seen such a bad situation even in India that you hire a rogue agent for every job even though you are educated.Coming back to the root cause of domestic violence. There is five year period to go from temporary worker to become a permanent resident. During this period, the battle of whether your family will become Liberal, Conservative, or Democrat takes place? There is even worse politics that that divide your wife’s relatives on one team and your relatives on the other. Then begins domestic violence, domestic violence sown by outsiders. Then some bad players are selected from your relatives and they are found in the house of greed to become permanent. They create doubts and confusion to make you fight against each other. Then one of your relatives will speak, leave the daily fight, divorce, get a relationship with another beautiful girl/boy. In a hundred percent of cases, this boy or girl will be a temporary worker who needs a permanent residency.Another way to create distance between you and your spouse is they tell stories of betrayal at work on a daily basis. The seed of doubt must be sown in your mind. These people did not let Ram and Sita be one, what can you expect. Friends must consider this. Please don’t ruin your home and family at anyone’s behest, understand the tricks of politics and remove the false curtain.
The president of our company once said that to complete any task without trouble three things are the most important.
Listening is the most important part of the communication, but everyone want to say and leave. We also consider we know more than others. In this modern world no one speaks their heart and soul. They just trying to say in complex ways referring to quotes, examples and stories. The truth is everyone is living in fear. Very few people have courage to speak the truth. They think ruling powers will make their life hell. The question is isn’t your life made a hell already? They do not even count you in alive people.
The media is confusing citizens by twisting the actual information and presenting it to their benefit. There is no consistency between what they say and do. You can hear the words without intent everywhere. Sometimes we feel we are on a different planet. The relation between human and nature is broken. They can not feel the nature or experience natural processes.
It is my personal opinion that effectiveness of communication is suffering badly because of political correctness. You may or may not agree to my opinion. Every individual have different experiences. You always express what you observed or experienced. My observation is we are being taught what we should say or what we shouldn’t say. It is never considered what we feel or what we wanted to say. Even if you managed to say what you feel and what you wanted to say. Others will distort your communication, twist your words and will prove you have no communication skill at all. All this happens because of political correctness. For example if you are telling your real life stories, people say please tell like a movie story with a happy ending. Come on why would we call it real life story? There was time when we shared true stories and movies were based on fictional stories. Now a days we tell fictional stories in life and movies are made based on true stories. I encourage you to share your thoughts, your experiences, your opinions so that in case I am wrong, it is never late to correct my course and have faith to move on. It is hundred percent true I tried to talk to people in a healthy way but honestly people always tell I will speak, you listen please.
